CHICAGO, ILL., December 1 – Bankers Conseco Life Insurance Company will begin selling health and life insurance plans, including those specifically designed for seniors, through their career agent force in the state of New York, effective immediately, the company announced.

The New product portfolio will be available in New York through agents in newly-opened offices in Syracuse, Jamestown, and Albany, according to Bankers, and at least six additional branches and satellite offices are planned to be opened throughout the state in 2007.

Bankers said that its product portfolio is designed to meet the retirement planning needs of the mature market. Plans available in New York, according to the company, include long-term care, Medicare supplement, Medicare Advantage Private-Fee-For-Service, Medicare Prescription Drug Plans, and whole life.
