WINDSOR, Conn., January 16 – Artizan Internet Services and Peachtree Special Risk Brokers have launched a new web resource center for executive lines/professional liability. The companies said that the secured site (www.psreli.com) was jointly developed to educate agents and help them sell this important but complicated line of business.

The site will be operated by Peachtree. Marc Dodson, vice president of the executive liability division for Peachtree, has worked for both carriers and wholesalers focusing on the professional liability industry. He said, Eighty five percent of all executive and special risk policies have a fatal flaw in the coverage. These are extremely important lines of business for clients. They open doors to increased coverage rounding and better customer service. But too many agents simply dont understand them, and too few MGAs and wholesalers provide enough data to accurately educate their agents.

Peachtree and Artizan describe the new website as a one-stop shop for agent education, policy research, and direct submission. Some highlights of the website include, according to the companies:

Claims examples and scenarios for education to the agent and their clients;

A quick quote feature which submits to the carrier, or an upload option to Peachtree.

The companies noted that the education component of the site is the major focus. They explained that the information is arranged by line of business, available for use as a sales tool, and is updated regularly. Additionally, they noted that, in the near future, there will be educational and sales webcasts for training and education, new product launches, and continuing education.
